“Sarah On Tour” Bath & Wiltshire

Tour Maps BathThe West Country = HOME so not far to roam – But still an adventure

First stop was the beautiful Old Manor Hotel in Bradford Upon Avon http://www.oldmanorhotel.com where I have had the pleasure of staying before – I hooked up with the lovely new owner Lucy to compliment her on the changes they are making and tell her a little about my services and products – the new schemes are a way off needing finishing touches but it's certainly a great venue that I'd love to be involved with plans in the future as the architecture is beautiful and they have a croquet lawn…!

OMG OMG OMG – I LOVE Bath!!!

From Thomas Hardy at O' Level (yup I'm that era) right through to my adoration of the Anthropology store that I visit as a substitute for living in London, Bath has it for me – sweeping architecture, slabs of fabulous stone and glorious Georgian town houses, it's busy enough to give me a culture fix and it has a Wagamamas ; )

The cobbled streets and wonderful archways led me to Queen Street, the oldest st in Bath apparently where I met with the owner of Harington's Hotel where I have some really interesting designs being commissioned by the ever friendly and laugh a minute Melissa – if ever you are needing  hideaway right in the middle of the city centre then here's a fab little find… http://www.haringtonshotel.co.uk watch this space as the project unfolds….

IMG_6326My indulgence for the day…

So after lunch and my first couple of meetings it was on to a totally gorgeous part of Bath I'd never stepped into before by the name of Abbey Green.

As you'd imagine it is tucked right behind the splendid abbey and it has the most fantastic tree right in the middle of this little pocket of shops & cafès – quite charming – as was my host – more can be revealed when this project goes live…

Another special little spot – with a welcomig front door and more to die for Georgian architecture – Oh I do love working with boutique hotels!!

Plus I was home for tea so I s'pose it was more of a teeny, tiny tour….

If you would like to get to know me and my work better and wanna meet up whilst I'm out and about on my tour throughout the UK, please do get in touch – I'm planning dates all over the country and it'd be great to meet you toooo!
