Painters’ Painters at Saatchi

Towards the end of January, I had a day in London for a couple of meetings both in Chelsea, hence the river shot as I took a moment to appreciate the views, so I then took an hour or so, between meetings, to have a wander around the current Painters' Painters exhibition at The Saatchi Gallery

Alumni Event at UAL

As a Central St Martins Student I was delighted to be invited to this Alumni Event which offered a chance to meet fellow creatives, hear from the organisation and how it plans to develop links and mentoring opportunities and to hear from their guest speaker...oh and enjoy a glass or two!


Sebastian Conran gave a lighthearted and informative insight to his career in design as our guest speaker.

His talk focused on the

London Textile Fair 2017

 

During Jan 11th - 13th The Business Design Centre in Islington hosted the London Textile Fair

I took a visit with a textile design friend and had a good old rummage around the thousands of fabrics and accessories exhibited...

A cold,snowy Friday 13th in London transpired to be a wonderful trip to The Tate...

I don't profess to have an indepth knowledge of Rauschenberg's work but I remember the impact his approach to found objects and in particular his work "Bed" had during my studies.
